Holiday Giving 2017
The Holidays are about gathering with close friends and family, enjoying great home cooked meals and giving thanks for all of our blessings. At Omni, we believe in these core values which is why we fell every service member should enjoy a fresh cut ham and an oven roasted turkey on both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Omni is proud to once again embark on an annual tradition stretching across the nation, Omni’s Annual Holiday Giving.
Every year in November and December Omni’s gets together with local Military bases to distribute vouchers for service members who may not be able to get one of these delicious delights. Each voucher can be redeemed at any supermarket to receive either a free Turkey or Honey Ham. This year alone Omni is proud to award these vouchers to over 600 service members stationed across the nation. We visited incredible bases such as:
- Fort Benning
- Fort Campbell
- Camp Lejeune
- Camp Pendleton
- Fort Riley
- Joint Base Langly Eustis
- Fort Drum
- Fort Hood
- The Norfolk Naval Shipyard
- And Many More!
We would like to thank all the higher ranking officials who assisted us with the distribution of these vouchers. Without their help, this would not have been possible. We Hope everyone had a safe and festive Holiday Season!
Holiday Giving November 2014
It’s no secret that the holidays can be a difficult time for members of our military. To help make things a little easier, and enjoyable, Omni is happy to announce it will again be conducting its annual “Holiday Giving” food certificate program. During November and December Omni General Managers across the country will provide their base contacts with a limited number of FREE food certificates which they in turn can distribute to deserving members in their units. These certificates can be redeemed at Commissaries or super markets for a Thanksgiving turkey or a Christmas ham. In 2013 over 1,000 certificates were given out. Whether a corporate program like “Holiday Giving” or a sponsorship of a local base event, Omni is always searching for ways to show its support for service members and their families.

CSM Walker will see to it that members of his unit who need a little extra help during this holiday season receive these free certificates. This Holiday Giving program is just one of the many way Omni works to support the service members of Ft. Hood throughout the year.

Happily presenting the certificates is Omni GM Emilio Montanez of the Junction City office. This Holiday Giving program that covers Thanksgiving and Christmas is just one of the ways Omni looks to support the service members of Ft. Riley throughout the year.
After being notified by Omni GM Luis Cruz about Omni’s Holiday Giving program, covering Thanksgiving and Christmas, CSM Castillo, from Ft. Gordon, came to our Omni office to pick up his FREE turkey certificates. CSM Castillo will give out these FREE certificates to deserving members of his unit who can use a little extra help around the holidays. This program is just one of the ways Omni support the Soldiers of Ft. Gordon.
When Ofelia Webb, Omni GM in the El Paso office, alerted key base contacts about Omni’s Holiday Giving program it was not long before these contacts showed up for their FREE turkey certificates. These FREE certificates would be given out to deserving Soldiers on Ft. Bliss that could use some assistance this time of year. This Holiday Giving program is just one of the many events that Omni’s El Paso office sponsors during the year in support of the soldiers of Ft. Bliss.
District Manager of Omni’s Prince George, VA office, Jeff Heckert, is happy to present to a smiling CPT Zachary Palko of Ft. Lee with his share of FREE Holiday Giving ham certificates. CPT Palko will make sure these certificates are distributed to those Soldiers in his unit that can use a little extra help during the holidays. Omni’s Holiday Giving program covers both the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and demonstrates just one way Omni looks to support the Soldiers of Ft. Lee on a year-round basis.

Willie Harris, Omni GM in the San Diego office, is in the holiday spirit as he presents FREE Holiday Giving turkey certificates to CMDCM Deda Santiago who will deliver these certicates to deserving members of his unit in need of some help this time of year. This Holiday Giving program covering Thanksgiving and Christmas is only one way that Omni strives to support the service members onboard Miramar.
As part of Omni’s Holiday Giving program covering Thanksgiving and Christmas GM Mike Sepura of the Lawton office is proud to present FREE turkey certificates to a smiling CSM Bonham of Ft. Sill. Beyond this Holiday Giving program Omni looks to support the service members of Ft. Sill in a variety of ways throughout the year.
